Shell Stevens Pools offers a lifetime warranty on the concrete swimming pool shell against structural cracking due to improper workmanship Tile We give a 4 year warranty against tile cracking with a Stevens Edge and Stevens hand painted or 6"x 6" tiles with or without a cap tile or with brick coping.  Many of our pools receive hand painted tiles which are difficult to replace.  Our engineers have developed time tested techniques to prevent our tile from cracking. Mechanical Components All mechanical components are fully covered for one year from the time of completion.  This includes all pumps, filters, controls and pool cleaners Underground Plumbing Fully guaranteed for five years.  Our plumbing systems are hydraulic balanced. Marcite The marcite carries a one year unlimited warranty against cracking due to workmanship.  This includes peeling and delamination.  Marble dust, a mined material is the primary ingredient of marcite.  All mined materials have small amounts of impurities, as a result, a small variation in color may occur. Gemstone In response to many problems and complaints of marcite, we have developed our "Gemstone" pool interior.  Gemstone is a harder, denser and more durable surface than marcite.  The appearance is off-white.  When filled with water, the pool will have a beautiful aqua color.  For added color and accent, upgrades are available to add other colored exposed aggregates.  The standard choices for color are blue, teal, red and black.  There are specks of color added to the off-white.  Other colors available upon request as upgrade.  Gemstone has a five year warranty against delamination, peeling and flaking.  No warranty is given against staining or discoloration.  Many of these problems are a result of bad water chemistry and may be eliminated chemically. Deck In the Tampa Bay Area, pools are built on sand and water.  The pool filled with water weighs approximately 75 tons.  As a natural result some settling occurs.  This does not harm the structural integrity of your deck.  Our engineers have developed several techniques which guard against structural cracks.  We guarantee against structural cracking due to improper workmanship for life.  Stress cracks which occur because of settling are not warranted.
